2016 sees big changes for the Crank Brothers Mallet 3. 

Gone is the half plastic/half aluminium body. It’s been replaced by a lightweight, yet super durable fully aluminium body.

2015 Description:

The Crank Brothers Mallet 3 uses a aluminium outer platform for strength and an composite inner platform to keep things light. The cleat wings are carbon steel for durability. The Mallet 3 spins on needle rollers and cartridge bearings, ensuring pedalling efficiency.

The Mallet 2 uses a 9/16 axle and will fit any aluminium or carbon crank.
