FTD II is a massively improved product over the original (which was already a great product!)
It’s grown to 40% wider to give ultimate rim protection, it’s also 30% taller to ensure the tyres sidewall is completely supported. This allows you to run lower pressures without the dreaded tyre squirm and achieve maximum traction.
Flat Tire Defender is made from a rubber based material – this is no pool noodle like so many of the ‘me too’ competition. It’s a closed cell foam, so it won’t absorb sealant. FTD is made in the USA.
Weight per wheel: 200-220g for 27.5, 230-250g for 29
What’s in the box: 1 or 2 Inserts (depending if you select the single or pair option) Tubeless Valve Stem, Super Glue for adhering the two ends together.
